This session consists of two parts. The first part will be a “best practices” session and will allow campuses the opportunity to share how they most effectively utilize their UCEAP returnees for recruitment/retention purposes. Questions to be addressed include: How do peer advisor/intern programs differ on each campus? What are the challenges that advisors face when managing these programs? What worked well and didn’t work as well? What type of training do these returnees receive? For the second part of the session, UCEAP will present its new Student Ambassador Program and will discuss what type of relations the ambassadors will have with the campus study abroad offices. UCEAP will have the opportunity to explain how they envision campuses will incorporate the new ambassadors into their existing programs. Campuses will be asked to share how they envision the new ambassadors will be integrated into their established programs. How can we all work together to use our returnees which are our best UCEAP recruiters?
